It's 8.30pm on a Friday night and I'm lied in bed reflecting on the week I've just had.
I've had a few ups and downs, my house is a untidy, I'm exhausted, emotionally a little drained but I have happy customers, healthy lambs on the farm and I'm making good moves on clarity for mine and my families future.
Being a mum to two girls (18 & 5), a sheep farmer, a partner and a business owner, life can get pretty busy especially at this time of year when we are lambing.
After only getting a few hours sleep last night due to a emergency situation with one of our ewes which unfortunately resulted into a loss of twin lambs, today has been emotional and one of massive reflection.
Life really does get in the way sometimes and I wanted to let you know that's it's ok if you house looks like a hurricane has gone through it, your washing is piled up and you can't see the chair in the corner with clean clothes you can't be arsed to put away, you have loads of dirty dishes on the side that you just don't have the energy to put away.......... it's ok and it's absolutely fine to leave it for a day.
Tomorrow is a new day and you can start again fresh. There is so much pressure on social media to have the perfect Instagram worthy house and to have all your crap together but you don't.
I clean and help lots of different mums every week and each one has different problems and needs they want help with, one common thing I see time and time again is they feel embarrassed and apologise for the house being a mess but let me tell you all now, never apologise for the state of your house if you find a great cleaner, declutterer and/or organiser we will never judge.
We have all been in crap situations, mental health struggles and just not feeling it so we know exactly how you feel, so never worry or apologise.
Just remember you situation is not a permanent one and it can be changed if you want it too.
Life just sometimes gets in the way.
Get yourself a early night and wake up tomorrow refreshed and raring to go, as you are the one to make the positive change in your life.
Zallah x
